You heard that right. Kaged Innovator Gaby's [@Gabymiya] favorite fall time post-workout food is protein corn bread. This cornbread is not only nutrient dense, the apple sauce makes the bread perfectly moist without using any oil!
MACROS (PER SERVING)
- Calories: 100
- Fat: 1 g
- Carbohydrates: 14g
- Protein: 7g
INGREDIENTS
- 1/4 cup milk of choice
- 1 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 Scoop Vanilla Whey Protein Isolate
- 1/5 tsp pink Himalayan salt
- 3/4 cup corn meal
- 1/4 cup oat flour
- 1 tbs honey
- 1 cup plain greek fat free yogurt
- 1/2 cup unsweetened apple sauce
- 1 Egg
DIRECTIONS
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- Spray a 9x9 inch pan with nonstick oil.
- Bake for 18 minutes, or until golden brown on the top.
